On November 2, 2008, Jiangsu Zhongneng Polysilicon Technology Development Co., Ltd. ("Jiangsu Zhongneng"), GCL Silicon Technology Holdings Ltd's ("GCL Silicon") operating company in China, won the "China's Most Promising Energy Company" award. The award was sponsored by Global Energy Finance Research Institute, Asia Finance Research Institute, Energy and Finance World Forum and the China Finance Net.
